Company Profile:

Genesis Transport Services, Inc., is a dynamic transport company operating mainly in key Metro Manila – Central Luzon routes.

Its storybook rise from a three-bus firm in 1991 into one of the major transport operators in the region (one of the toughest and most competitive region of operation according to experts) makes it a case model for new bus operators.

From its humble start 16 years ago – three shuttle buses, a crew of six and two partners – Genesis now has a total of 200 buses plying strategic routes between Metro Manila, Central Luzon and Baguio city. Business publications place it within the top 5,000 corporations in the country in terms of gross revenue. It has a network of terminals, halfway stops and maintenance and service facilities. It is on its way to achieving full computerization.

Genesis’ main source of pride is its roughly 700 personnel performing various operations, finance, maintenance, service and support work. To Genesis, its managers and employees are its most important assets and they define the company’s philosophy, soul and character.

The company’s pay scheme is one of the highest in the industry. The grievance resolution mechanism put in place by management for its employees is the envy of unionized companies in the transport industry.
